I´ve been part of two main book clubs here in Guatemala city. Book clubs come and go, and that´s their nature. Readers grow and their interests in topics may differ over time.
What I love about the one that´s still active is that it became a community of women reading. I built a quick Data Studio to track and see trends of all our reads, and we became proactive in terms of diversity. We started with the status quo of authors and slowly we´ve been discovering together many other women writers.

I also kept track of the books read in the Astronomy Bookclub for a year. This book club still exists and it´s a Sophos initiative.
